Welcome to Sisterz On The Move, the online magazine! This site is near and dear to my heart and has been in the incubator for nearly four years! I have a passion for women and helping women realize their dreams.
As a teenage mother, who took her child with her to Howard University; as a single parent raising two children and going back to school to complete a college degree; and now as a married mother of four and entrepreneur, I know what it is like to have to juggle everything in your life (work, family, marriage, education, career, etc.) and still find time to live your own life, explore your passions, and live your dreams. I am a firm believer that with the right balance, support, encouragement, and determination, EVERYTHING is possible! That is what this magazine is all about!
In February 2010, I stepped out on faith and started my own creative consulting business called Kreativ Intervention, which specializes in branding, marketing, public relations, and creative strategy. I am also the creator and one-fourth of the dynamic online radio show “Your Sisterfriends,” which deals with real-life issues that affect women and families.
Yes, know, I do alot:) But Luke 12:48 says that to who much is given, much is required. God has given me many gifts and talents and it is my responsibility to multiply these gifts and talents and use them to their full capacity to help others, spread LOVE, and impact this world! It is also your responsibility to do the same…so I encourage you to “find balance…make moves…and LIVE YOUR DREAMS!”

Tamara Allen’s Professional Bio
A branding and marketing expert with over ten years in the industry, Tamara Allen is the director and chief consultant of Kreativ Intervention. With a master’s degree in marketing and communication and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing promotions, Tamara is a creative visionary that brings a fresh perspective to solving complex communication problems.
The former creative director for Who’s Who Publishing, the nation’s largest African-American directory publisher, Tamara directed the content and managed the production of 20 annual publications under the Who’s Who Brand, including Who’s Who In Black Columbus, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston, and Detroit. Tamara has had the opportunity to meet and network with some of the most affluent and influential individuals across the country. In this role she also worked with major companies and corporations across the U.S. translating marketing objectives into creative strategies and ensuring that objectives were properly understood and met. Additionally, Tamara was responsible for the production of all company marketing materials and ensuring that all communication was consistent and inline with the company’s mission and goals.
Tamara has an extensive and well-rounded creative background. Her experience and exposure in the areas of marketing, advertising, public relations, graphic design, and printing allows her a unique perspective and understanding of the creative process as well as the ability to integrate these areas to achieve maximum results.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Tamara is a professionally-trained actress and voice-over artist and has appeared in several television and radio commercials, corporate industrial videos, and print ads. Tamara is the proud parent of four wonderful children.
